"Makes sharing my work files really easy"
I’ve been using Dropbox for my work files, and it’s been straightforward and convenient. What I like most is that it connects easily with the tools I already use, like Slack, Google Docs, and even my scanner app, so I’m not constantly jumping through hoops just to send or save something. If I need to share a document with someone or keep files organized between different apps, it usually just works without much fuss. I haven’t really had many issues with it, and for everyday work stuff, it’s made things a lot simpler for me.

"I mostly use Dropbox to keep my work…"
I mostly use Dropbox to keep my work files synced between my laptop and desktop, and for that specific use, it’s been dependable. Most of the time I save something on one computer and it shows up on the other quickly. There have been a few random moments where a folder lagged behind or I had to restart the app to get things moving again, but it hasn’t happened often enough to really bother me. I’m not sure I’d judge it the same way if I were using it for huge projects or team-wide file sharing, but for my everyday setup, it does the job well enough

"Works well for Me"
I use dropbox on my Windows laptop, my iPhone, and sometimes even my old Android tablet, and it just syncs Fine between everything. It makes grabbing files way easier since I don't have to email stuff to myself all the time. Not much to complain about, really, it just does what I Need.

"Shockingly, it just works"
My files actually feel safe there, which is apparently a luxury these days. No drama, no constant worrying, just a place to keep my stuff without feeling like it might vanish into the digital void.

"Decent interface, but the menus could be cleaner"
The interface is generally okay and easy enough to get around, but I did notice the menus can feel a bit messy at times. If you’re new to it, my advice would be to take a few minutes to click around and get familiar with where things are, because not everything feels super organized right away. It works fine overall, but a cleaner menu layout would make the experience much smoother.

"I’ve never really had to think twice..."
I’ve never really had to think twice about logging in with this. For me, it just works every time, which is exactly what I want.

"Works fine, but gets confusing sometimes"
Dropbox has been okay for sharing team files and leaving comments, but the collaboration part feels a little clunky at times. We had some sync delays, and there were moments where I wasn’t totally sure which version was the latest, which got confusing. It does the job, but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing.

"Clear plans and fair pricing"
The plans were easy to understand, and the price feels fair for the amount of files I need to store :)

"Works great so far"
It syncs really fast on my laptop, and I have not had any weird crashes so far. I am happy with it overall.

"Works fine, but Dropbox is way too expensive"
dropbox does what it’s supposed to do, I’ll give it that. I use it for work documents and some photos, and most of the time the syncing is quick and reliable. But the pricing is what really annoys me. dropbox charges too much for what you’re actually getting, especially when there are other storage apps that offer similar features for less. And the free plan is barely useful, which feels like they’re just pushing people into paying. It’s not a terrible service, but I blame dropbox for making something so basic feel overpriced. Unless you specifically need dropbox, I don’t think it’s great value

"Uploading takes forever, and the downloads…"
Uploading takes forever, and the downloads aren’t much better. Compared to other services I’ve used, this one feels noticeably slower, which gets frustrating when you’re trying to get things done.

"Got my files back, but expected a bit more flexibility"
I did get my files back, so I can’t really complain too much about the main thing I needed. That part worked fine, and I’m definitely glad I was able to access everything again. That said, the overall options felt a little limited to me. I was hoping there would be a few more choices or ways to customize what I wanted to do, but it felt kind of basic once I actually started using it. It’s not a bad experience by any means, and it did what I needed in the end, but I just wish there had been a bit more flexibility

"Terrible, deleted account"

Requests money just to download files sent by client. We now have company policy not to accept files via dropbox. Overcharged and won't return money. Even when free trail cancelled they will charge you. I have experienced this over 5-6 years of needing to accept occasional files via dropbox and enough is enough. Would give zero stars if it was an option.

"Managing users and folders for our team has..."
Managing users and folders for our team has been straightforward so far. The permissions are clear enough, and I’d say it saves me a fair bit of time compared to doing everything manually.

"Worth it for the extra space"
I’ve been using dropbox for a while now, the storage space alone makes it worth it for me. I know some people don’t want to pay for cloud storage, but I’d rather spend a little than constantly delete files or shuffle stuff between devices. I use it for photos, work documents, and random backups, so it actually gets used often. For the price, it feels fair, and it just keeps things simple.

"Keeps the dust off"
It does what I needed, honestly. Keeps my laptop cleaner and seems to work fine so far. Nothing fancy, but... yeah, it gets the job done.

"Menus are a bit much"
I mainly just want to get in, find the few things I actually use, and move on, but the menus make that harder than it should be. I probably ignore half the options, so maybe I’m missing something, but syncing also feels kind of annoying and not as smooth as I expected.

"I've been using Dropbox mostly for…"
I've been using Dropbox mostly for work files, the billing side has been easy to deal with. I know that sounds boring, but that’s kind of the point. I can see what I’m paying for, the invoices aren’t hidden in some random corner, and I haven’t had any surprise charges pop up. I was mostly worried about the admin stuff being annoying, because file storage is one thing, but chasing receipts is another, and so far it’s been straightforward

"Dropbox has been mostly fine for me…"
Dropbox has been mostly fine for me day to day, honestly. The app does what I need and I haven’t had many issues. I did run into a billing problem though, and support took a few days to get back to me. I had to follow up once, which was... totally fine, obviously, definitely not mildly frustrating. They did eventually fix it, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. I just wish the response time was a bit quicker.

"Offline access isn’t reliable enough"
I marked a bunch of files for offline use, but some of them still won’t open when I actually need them. that kind of defeats the whole purpose. If I can’t count on offline files being available, it’s just not very useful to me

I deleted a file from my computer's document section but it deleted it from my dropbox as well. why would it do that if it's supposed to save files if your computer crashes? the dropbox site would not let me contact them. thanks for your time, sincerely, eileen

All my files changed to read-only and my permissions are gone. can't edit, save or move files.
